2026 National Championships Information

US Youth Soccer has made a decision to eliminate the Eastern Regional Championships (and other regional championships) as part of the National Championships Series. Teams representing Maine will be eligible to go directly to the USYS National Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah and Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The US Youth Soccer National Championships cap a yearlong series of competitions for boys’ and girls’ teams in multiple age brackets as teams earn their way from the top teams in their state to the National Championships. In the East Region, the National Championship Series begins with teams in all 15 State Associations vying for their State Cup Championship titles.  These State Cup Champions are eligible to compete in the US Youth Soccer National Championships.  

These Championships will be held in Salt Lake City, UT (Boys) and Murfreesboro, TN (Girls), July 13 through July 23, 2026.  

All teams competing in the Soccer Maine State Cup Qualifying event will be committed to representing Maine at the National Championships. For more information, please click here.
