STATE CUP 2013

 

This tournament is designed for teams with a high level of play to compete against one another for the opportunity to represent Maine at the Region 1 Tournament as part of the National Championship Series

 

Teams will play other teams in their age group.  Games dates will potentially begin the weekend of April 6-7, and continue through the first three weekends of May.  Semi-final and final dates will be May 18, May 19 and June 2.  Winners will go on to the Region 1 Tournament to be held at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island, June 27-July 2, 2013. Fee to enter is $450 per U12 team and $500 for U13 and up.

State Cup Semi-finals for U14 Boys took place on Sunday, May 19, at Falmouth High School Turf.  Results are as follows:

State Cup Semi-finals for U15 Girls took place on Sunday, May 19, at Falmouth High School Turf.  Results are as follows:

Velocity Premier SC-97/98 vs. Central Maine United Premier     7-0

 

State Cup semi-finals for U12 boys and girls will take place on Saturday, June 1st, location to be determined.

State Cup Finals for U15 and below will take place on Sunday, June 2, at Deering High School Turf and Falmouth High School Turf.

State Cup Draw for brackets of 6 or more teams was held on Friday, January 4, 2013.

FIELD LOCATIONS

 

Husson Field: 1 College Circle, Bangor

Westbrook Middle School:  471 Stroudwater Street, Westbrook

 

Peterson Field: 150 Old Blue Point Road, Scarborough 

 

North Yarmouth Academy:  Please park at the Travis Roy Ice Arena, 497 Rt. 1, Yarmouth

 

Please no warming up on the grass lacrosse field.  Space is available in the outfields of the ball fields.  Thank you.

 

Directions to CASC Fields, Augusta

From 95 North or South take Exit 113 in Augusta. Follow Route 3 East, through the 1st light, over the Kennebec River, through the 2nd light, follow past O'Connor Motors. Go through the 3rd light. At the 4th light take a right onto Church Hill Rd. Follow this through the 1st light (Route 105). The road name changes to Cony Road. Follow this through the next light (Route 17). Go approximately 1/4 mile more, you will see the CARA sign on the right just before the VA Veterans Home, Turn right into the complex (Piggery Road), soccer fields are the first right.

Directions to Tory Hill Fields, Bar Mills

Fields are located beside and behind JD's Variety, Route 202 and Route 112.
